Aerospace Sales Representative

Aerospace Sales RepresentativePosition function:
focus and coordination of sales and customer management activities.
The role will bridge the gap between our customers and our internal operations team:
supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Developing sales strategies and concepts in order to achieve sales, grow market share, and increase customers while taking into consideration customer requirements.
Support new customer sales by providing training, coaching, contract negotiations, product marketing material, local visits/ workshops with the customers for all products & services to gain success of existing and future products.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customer personnel, including buyers, material program managers, program managers, and other procurement personnel.
Define mapping and provide transparency to the organization regarding offer strategy considering customer requirements, project estimation (through quoting engineer), timeline and customer approach in coordination with respective departments.
Provide and negotiate solutions for customer escalations in regard to sales orders and other related topics as needed.
Initiate and execute strategic projects to further enhance our company competencies.
Coordinates internally to prepare RFX responses in accordance with defined procedures for internal approvals and preparation of proposals.
Responsible for representing organization in a professional manner:
sales calls, product and company presentations, trade shows, conference calls and meetings.
Understands new product development and knowledge of competition and market trends to contribute to sales requirements in the marketplace.
Support negotiations with customer for the pre-award activities and for contracts of an awarded program.
Coordinate handoff of new sales to account managers, including quality requirements, FARS/DFARS requirements, and key customer contacts.
Other responsibilities as required.
o Four-year degree desired, mechanical or aerospace engineering perferred o Five plus years technical sales experience or equivalent aerospace industry/manufacturing background; experience with machined metal parts and aerospace / defense primes are highly desired o Demonstrate strong team and leadership skill sets o Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees o Excellent presentation skills are required o Excellent verbal and communication skills o Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to conceptualize new ideas, strategies, etc.
o Results oriented; a self-starter and a fast learner o 25% travel o Microsoft Office knowledge:
